The main aim of the Web Based Reporting System is to provide an internet based system which will maintain all the information on any ATM machine. This Web Based Reporting System project will be helpful for banks for monitoring transaction and the requirement of money in the ATM. It will allow managers to monitor the information about an ATM machine through the internet based system and there is no need to install any software on the system and hence it will make the process easy to manage ATMs in any place.

Existing system

In the present Web Based Reporting System, the information of each transaction and money required by an ATM is maintained by manual process. To maintain the information there is a lot of manpower required and hence the cost of management is high. Whereas the recording of data through manual increases the possibility of error in the data and one major problem is there is a need for maintaining records for all customers. The present Web Based Reporting System won’t allow online transaction facility. As there is requirement of high manpower.

Proposed system

The Web Based Reporting System will allow storing a large amount of data on the system which will be stored for a large amount of time. The Web Based Reporting System will have a predefined set of rules which will help to store the information in the right format. The Web Based Reporting System will be very easy to use and will provide various options to control and monitor the system, the software has a user friendly environment so there is no need to learn how to operate the software. As the data is stored in the computer, it will be easy to access any data from the system and the time required to maintain is very less. Also, it will provide the information related to ATM working hours means the up time and downtime of ATM.

ATM availability
This module will help banks to monitor the ATM which is working in any region or area. It will give an average time of ATM’s up time and downtime.

In the transaction module, it will provide information on the number of transaction has done and the type of the transaction such as money withdraw inquires etc.

The user module will give details of the user who has accessed the ATM means the user is from our bank or from another bank.

Average withdrawal amounts
This will help to get the details of average withdraw, maximum transaction, minimum transaction per ATM in any given region.
