Over and Under Voltage Load Protection With GSM Alert
This Final Year Projects in Electrical Engineering project aims to build a system to monitor the voltage and present a cutoff point based low and high voltage tripping mechanism to avoid any damage. This mechanism sends an SMS to the user whenever there is a high or low voltage. The tripping mechanism monitors the input voltage and trips on the provided limit. 8-bit microcontroller AT mega328 with GSM modem and an LCD is attached to it. Whenever the input voltage fluctuates, it sends an error message to the GSM modem and then the modem sends an alert message to the user mobile.
Automatic Room Light Controller using IR Sensors
This project aims to build a system to switch on the lights in the room automatically when a person enters the room and switch off when the person leaves the room. The electricity can be saved with this mechanism. Two sets of IR LED and IR sensors are associated with the microcontroller for detecting the person while entering and exiting the room. This system can be used at homes, resorts and lodges.
Smart-Watch for Elderly People
The SmartWatch is a mini-computer or smartphone to wear as a watch on the wrist. This project presents a touch screen interface and with many capabilities such as Bluetooth connection, GPS navigation, message notification, and calendar synchronization. Additionally, you can even count the footsteps, monitors heartbeat, pulse rate, and calories. With the help of Bluetooth connectivity, you can send or receive messages. Many of the elderly people suffer from health issues where they need to have a track on their health.
The proposed system helps as a solution by tracking the health status and sends the heart rate, pulse and humidity by an SMS to the care-taker every minute. If there is any health issue with the elder person such as he falls down or collapses an immediate SMS with the location will be sent to the caretaker. It consists of a GPS, LCD display, temperature and humidity sensor, heart rate sensor, and fall detection sensor.
Dual Axis Solar Tracker System with Weather Sensor
The Final Year Projects in Electrical Engineering project Dual Axis Solar Tracker System with Weather Sensor is designed and to maximize the solar energy from Sun. The dual-axis tracker can increase the solar energy by tracking the sun rays from switching solar panel in all directions. This dual-axis solar tracker project with weather sensors will be displayed on LCD. This system consists of servo motor, raindrop sensor, LCD, stepper motor, humidity and temperature sensor.
Low-cost LPG Leakage Detector
The LPG leakage detector is already available in the market. However, it is expensive and mostly based on microcontroller. The foremost object of this LPG leakage detector is to identify the leakage anywhere. This project offers a low-cost LPG leakage detector. A dual comparator IC LM393 is used as the heart of the circuit. It is used to compare two different voltages, one is a reference voltage and another is MQ-6 gas sensor output voltage. When there is any indication of leakage, the sensor detects the leakage within no time.
RFID Based Petrol Pump Automation System
Mostly, all the petrol pumps have a control unit to manage the pump, measure the flow and turning off the pump when reaches the limit. However, a person is required physically to collect the money and there are chances of human errors. In this proposed system, RFID card is used to access the petrol from any petrol bunks across the country. The mechanism is connected with all petrol bunks using a single web-server with a password that will be known only to the petrol bunk. When filling petrol in the bunk, just the user needs to show the RFID card to the reader and the microcontroller reads the information.
A digital petrol pump is provided in the bunks to avoid human errors and money transaction. This model consists of RFID module, Keypad, LCD display, Ac pump, alarm, and microcontroller. When the password is entered wrong for more than twice, an alarm is raised.
Wireless Door Bell Calling System
This Final Year Projects in Electrical Engineering project aims to use a conventional method of a doorbell system. For a doorbell system, installing the wires is expensive and sometimes they may be damaged. In the proposed system, two units are connected to each other by an RF link. The transmitter unit has a switch for the user interface. When a user presses the switch, the system indicates to the bell and it rings inside the house or office. This mechanism is less expensive than other methods.
