Graduate Selection Process project in Java

 

Project Abstract

Graduate selection process is responsible for selecting eligible candidates through online examination. It’s an online recruitment system or Graduate Selection Process that helps the recruiters to find the best candidates by meeting their expectation levels. Recruiters will have the options to set the examination schedule, time, patterns and question levels. To remove the conflict-ions of same questions by different candidates, random number functions will be helpful to extract random questions for each screen and display for the appearing candidates. All submitted answers will be checked by the system automatically and prepare the reports. Even recruiters will able to restrict candidates not to appear for examination before six months once appeared in their recruitment session.

Existing System

Manual working procedure was followed by the existing system and extra man power needed to look after all the activities which involves during recruitment process. All the performance and skills test need to be evaluated manually which takes extra time. There should be a team of members who will responsible to perform different activities such as preparing question papers, evaluating the answer sheet, preparing merit list and so on. If during form filling process by the candidates, any mistakes occurred, they will not able to make correction on paper sheet and there can be chance of manual error and fraud while preparing final selection list.

Proposed System

Through the use of proper validation methods, system will be able to prepare correct reports and able to provide an automated paper free environment. Recruiters will able to conduct exams as and when required and on different modules as they want. It’s the admin who have the authority to set question papers, create different exam sections, ability to display results on time or just after completing the examination. Admin can impose time limit on each questions and for each sections. Using random function, different questions will be presented all appearing candidates. The most powerful feature of this Graduate Selection Process system is exam resume capability. If due to any fault or error system shut down or get off, then exam will be start from last session where it was left behind for each candidates. Recruiters can establish direct communication through emails with candidates.

Login Panel for Admin:-

Admin will be provided with almost all options to make recruitment process easy and fair. It will have the power to initiate the exam process, set modules for current exam, questions level, time limit and options to display results after examination or on specified date and time. Admin can view profiles of each candidates and can send results directly to their emails. This system will relieve recruiters for manual checking of answers and prepare results of all appearing candidates. It can also prepare final list based on given input.

Login Panel for Candidates:-

Candidates will able to enter their profile information, upload their profile images and copies of their certificates. Candidates can view their profiles, view their profiles and documents, appear in the exam if permitted and selected by recruiters, can check their results.
