Overview
An Online Music Gallery System is basically a webpage where one can play/pause music. It has other features like the home section, a music section, about section, contact section, etc. The software application developed is going to make a website that will play/pause music using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technology used. When the user will play the music, we will show a play image or icon and when user presses pause image or icon will be displayed.
The songs displayed on website are stored in database in the form of bytes which helps to reduce storage space and load. So the online music gallery helps you to listen to the songs online and you will be updated about the latest upcoming albums.
Existing system
Music and music items have become an important part of our life. Customers obtain these music items from music stores. An existing system is nothing but a manual music store. A manually run music store has so many drawbacks. In such systems, the customer has to go to such music shops and search for a specific music CD/Cassette. If the music CD/Cassette is available then only they will purchase the same. This system has its drawbacks.
Firstly, the customer has to manually visit the music shop in order to purchase the music item needed which results in the wastage of time in searching for a particular music shop. So there is a need for an automated system that is user-friendly that provides the customer music online without having to go to the store. Moreover, it also automates all the day-to-day activities of the music store.
Proposed system
The new Online Music Gallery System uses a GUI framework that is highly user-friendly because the entire programs are menu-driven so that the new visitors can use the software efficiently. This Online Music Gallery System product has been mainly designed to overcome some of the problems faced with the manual system. The main problem faced was an unnecessary delay. The previous system in use was also expensive and time-consuming.
The main intention of the proposed and designed system is to automate the shopping channel between the company and the clients and ease the user’s work. The advantage of the online music gallery is that you can easily get to play your favorite song on the basis of title, genre, lyrics and artist. The application will enable visitors to register with the sites. The application will enable visitors to perform activities such as a search for music items, vote for popular music, and view the latest releases and chartbusters.

Visitor module

- Modify the details regarding a particular music item
- View the report, which includes sales reports for a specified day, previous week, and previous month.
- View messages and feedback from the customers
