Telephone Billing System project in Java

 

 

Project Objective

Telephone billing system is specially designed for the hotels to prepare billing slips for their customers who take this service from their hotel. It’s a web based application which can be rune from any desired room using its domain name or by using IP address. It’s one of the most user friendly telephone billing system which can be easily understand by its admin personnel. This new telephone billing system having some useful features like: generating bills for their guest who make calls from their hotels, displaying particular room balance for particular customer/guest, getting call rates details and total bills for their total duration’s. Among all, hotels will have their document customization facility by which they can give a look to their printable billing report. It’s a telephone billing management system with inbuilt accounting facility to make billing process easier.

Existing System

Among many lacking features in the previous system, the most important was lack of simplicity and accounting facility. Existing was not equipped with call tracking facility by which keeping information was most difficult and hotels were not able to gain maximum profit by using their own business rules. Under existing system, there was no availability of query builder which can present report as per requirement and export that particular query result for particular customers account to make them inform earlier.

Proposed System

This new Telephone Billing System having simple but power user interface which meets all the requirements. During start up, it will provide you the power to make query upon following segments such as find rooms, show calls, balance or hotel and particular rooms along with other supportive information such as check in date and check out date with time, details of particular customer type etc.  Its query builder provides you the flexibility to play with the required information as per your requirements. You can get much information on desired particular room like their dialed number, destination where it has been called, starting time of call, total duration of call and total price for such particular time. As the concept of Jasper has been used to make customizable report, so you can give your own look as per business requirements.

Modules

1. Call Accountability: – It’s the module from where you will get all the details of calls, their duration’s and total amount which has to be paid by the customers. It will generate the call list with all required information date wise.
2. Security and Compliance:-Since, this system will store useful information of customers, so proper security measures has been taken to keep free from any fraud with proper authentication process.
3. Staff Productivity: -In this competitive edge, to make all staffs more productive, it saves their time and of course the organization money using the power query builder module.
