Android Inventory Tracker
Overview
The Inventory Tracker project is built to allow user to track the inventories and its location. This application is very useful and easy to manage when the inventory is large in number. The user can keep the record and track the inward and outward inventory.
Using this inventory tracker android application, the owner of the inventory can even order new stock for their inventories too and apart from this, inventory owners get latest updates also via this application. The latest updates are all about the latest prices of the products, new products in the market and so on.
Existing System
The Inventory Tracker application requires an internet connection to track. When the server is down, updating/viewing the inventory is not possible and this is considered as a major drawback of the project. Apart from this, sometimes the marketers even don’t have any application to manage their inventories and this makes them to put a lot of efforts for managing the stock.
Existing system of managing inventory takes place mainly using pens and papers and thus take a lot of time as well. Losing upon of important documents can lead to a huge loss as well for the marketers.
Proposed System
The Inventory Tracker system reduces the time taken to track the inventory manually. Only registered users can login to the application. Therefore, unauthorized access is restricted. The system is simple and easy to track the inventory details. The application is built with attractive user interface that allows the user to add, modify or delete any details in inventory.
In proposed system, the user can calculate monthly profit, gain and loss that had taken place into their inventory as well. This leading application is making the regular task simpler for inventory managers.
Inventory Tracker Modules
Given are the modules for android inventory managing application:
1.) User Module: All the users can register themselves into this module by making their accounts and can get access to manage their inventories via this module. Also they can install other applications into this module, for making the calculations and management simpler.
2.) Inventory Module: All the products of the inventory, their details, prices, versions, vat no, and all the other relevant details are added into this module by the user through their user account.
3.) Application Module: In this module, all the new applications that have been installed by the users for their own use and are not already installed in the system application are added into this module.
