Hospital Health Card Java Project

 

Project Abstract

The main intention of this Hospital Health Card project is to make a system which will help a patient at the time of emergency. Today each hospital has their website so we can enhance the website and will add some more function to it. The added function can be access by the chairman, directors or the person who is certified to use the feature. The certified user will get a smart hospital card according to the patient needs, they can take health card scheme to a year or two or for a lifetime. The hospital management will give priority and will discount on checkup according to the type of card. Anyone who wants to take the card has to give registration amount according to the type of health card.

Existing System

In the today’s system, a patient needs to first submit the money whenever he/she goes to a hospital and then the doctor will check the patient.

Hospital Health Card Proposed System

While in the proposed Hospital Health Card system the patient will be first inspected by the doctor. As the detail of the person with the health card is already in the hospital user will not need to bring the prescriptions each and every time. The doctor will go through the website and can give the medicines according to the previews results stored in the system.

Hospital Health Card Modules

The modules which are used by this Hospital Health Card system are the administrator and the branch manager. In the administrative module, it has the control to create a new branch and can assign or remove new branch manager too. The administrator has the power to create the health card and will provide the specification of the card such as the name of the candidate, the card number, and can give a discount on the card. The administrator divide the branch on the state, district and city wise to have a better control over the system. The branch manager will take the information of the candidate and will send it to the administrator. It will manage the card details and will also monitor on the profit of the hospital from the smart health card. According to the income from the present profit, the branch manager will make the future plans. The branch manager will give the permission to different doctors so they can check the details of patients. Whereas doctors can edit the details only for the temporary basis and the fine change will be done by the branch manager. This type of Hospital Health Card system will be profitable for both hospital and users as both will save some amount of money.

Software and Hardware Requirements

The software requires are windows system, java web server 2.0, tomcat 5.0, Oracle, JDBC, JAVA, HTML. The hardware requirements are 233 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 20 GB Hard disk.
