Online clinic management system
Objective
An online clinic management system is a software developed through which the medical stores maintain their inventory of medicines. Now the number of patients is increasing so much that it is difficult to track it so there was the need for such system which could keep track of the medicines. It also stores their consultation fees and their prescription by the doctor. It becomes easy for the receptionist to keep track of the medicines It also maintains the employee’s salaries and expenses. This also helps in running a clinic efficiently and there are online follow-ups also. This software helps to keep track of all the medicines and it allows faster access to relevant information of the which medicines are in stock. It is a user-friendly interactive system which tracks all the details regarding clinic like employee information and medicines information.
Existing system
The existing system was a manual system which requires a lot of paperwork as all the medical records need to be stored in the files and which was very tedious so there was the need for an automated system which could reduce all this and lead to efficient management. With increasing number of patients, it was difficult to track the patients prescription and the medicines they want.
Hence the new system reduces complexity in maintaining patient’s records. So, there was the need for an automated system which could automate all the process and make the clinic run efficiently.
Proposed system
The new system automates the manual procedure of maintaining clinic activities. The doctors can view patients records easily. It also instantly generates the bill and eliminate the need for paper records. The system is convenient and flexible to be used. The new system saves time, resources and effort. There is an administrator who manages all the things of adding patient details and editing it. It helps to generate bills quickly without consuming any time. Once the bills are generated they can be printed.
Online clinic management system Modules
Admin module: This is the administrator module which decides the addition and deletion of all the details like adding users to the system or modifying it. He can add details of staff, patient, and doctors.
Doctor register: This module allows doctor registration by filling his details.
Approve appointment module: In this module, the patient makes the appointment and the doctor has to approve it.
Patient register: The patient needs to register himself with his details.
Payment module: This module is for making payment when patients books an appointment with the doctor.
