Content Management System Project

The main objective of the project is to have a fully automated Content Management System. This system will enable to draw the details of the client along with jobs allotted to that particular client with just a single mouse click. This system will definitely reduce the time, energy and money wasted in manually searching the details of the clients. With the help of this software, all the jobs and clients can be properly channelized.

Existing System

The present scenario offers manual data entry. Not only this, if a client is working on multiple projects, then multiple reports are generated. A lot of time is wasted in creating the reports as well as maintaining them. In case, if any query arises to get the information about the client, the whole report is re-typed or xeroxed. This seriously affects the authentication of the system. This system is totally outdated and involves high risk of ambiguity and redundancy.

Proposed System 

The proposed system is to have everything completely automated and computerized. The software is very easy to use and manage even for a non technical person. The redundancy and ambiguity will be removed by assigning every client a unique number (or client code). The projects will be categorized and sub categorized as well for the ease of use and both will be allotted a unique identification number (project and sub-project code). We will need a dedicated remote server for this application.

Modules

The Proposed software will be having the following modules:

Admin: Admin module will have the full control and permissions to add a new client, edit the existing client or delete any of the client. He will also be responsible for addition and modification of any project entry. It will be responsibility of the admin to allocate any project (with the sub project code) to the client.

Client: The client can see his information added by the admin. Each and every client will be identified by a unique client id. He can only edit his information other than his code and project code. All the information like on which projects the client is working will be reflected there.

Project: Each project will be entered by the admin with a unique project code. It is completely his authority to mark it altogether a new project or put it under some project (making it a sub-project). All sub-projects will also be marked by a unique code. Here we can also see which project is mapped to which client.
Hardware configuration

Servers: We will need a remote server to act as e-mail server, database Server and the web logic server.

Terminals: These are simply the desktops where the GUI will be running.

Digital Library System Project

The main objective of this project is to provide a complete automated Library by digitizing its each and every functionality. Starting from the book-keeping, issuing of books, fine generation, advance booking and report generation all will be accomplished under one single project. The project will increase the accuracy by making the whole issuing and returning of books speedier, manageable, less time consuming and more efficient. It will certainly reduce the manual work used in preparing reports and data retrieval.

Existing System

The Existing system has a lot of redundancies and inconsistencies. A lot of work force is deployed to drive the library efficiently. All the data management is done over papers. It becomes very difficult to respond at once how many copies of a particular book are there or is the book available with the library or not. The Book issuing, returning and advance booking also involves ambiguity at many levels. For any report to be prepared, it takes around 2-3 days for completion. The whole system needs to be optimized to a good level which exactly what this project is going to do.

Proposed system

The project will be a web based project with a database server responsible for maintaining every single detail of the Library. It has a very user friendly interface which can easily be operated by any non-technical person. It will make the Library management more efficient, responsive and less time consuming with high level of accuracy. Any person can inquire about the books with a single mouse click. Issuing of books, returning of books and fine generation will become simple and easy.

Modules

There are essentially four modules of this software;

Admin module: Admin will have complete control over the system. Admin has permissions to update, delete or modify any existing record or make a new entry (books and members). A user can send request for advance booking of a book to admin by sending an email.

Normal Users: The normal users enjoy only limited privileges. They have a view access to the books. They can browse through the categories, search for a particular book, return and issue a book. They are also provided with an email option in case of a query.

Members: Members of this project also share limited access. They can only browse through the categories and search for a book. They have to send mails to the admin in case they want a book.

Report generation: The Reports generated by this system can be stored on hard disk as excel sheet or PDF file. Reports can directly me mailed or Faxed.

Contract Labour Management System Project

The main objective of this Labour Management System project is to have a completely automated project allotment system which can even be managed by a non technical person. This project will serve the purpose of maintaining all the contractor and sub-contractor details along with issuing registration certificate to contractor and license certificate to sub-contractor. This Labour Management System project will definitely reduce the time and effort in searching for contractors with expired licenses and intimating them beforehand. Fetching all the contractor details, sub-contractor details and work order details will be made easy with just a single mouse click. Overall management of Contract labor will be easy and quick.

Existing System

Till now, all details of contractor, sub-contractor and work order allotment are done manually and on paper. It becomes very difficult to get all the details about any contractor in a short time. A lot of time, money and energy is wasted in searching as well as maintaining the documents. Many times, contractors were not intimated on time about their license which was going to expire. The present Labour Management System does not follow any proper channel making the whole system redundant and ambiguous.

Proposed system

The proposed Labour Management System will the precious time, money, energy and paper with flawless execution. Each and every process, be it addition of a new contractor, allotting project, issuing certificate to contractor and license to sub-contractor, all will be digitized. Manual searching will be reduced as all contractor details can be listed along with their expiration dates and can be imported to excel sheets. It will be developer’s responsibility to install and test the software. Proper training will be given and in order to pace up with the latest technologies, all updates will be done regularly. It will also be maintaining the fee details like security deposit, welfare fund, challan details etc.

Labour Management System Modules

The Labour Management System will be having following modules;

Admin: Admin has the full authority over the project for any addition, deletion and modification of contractor and sub-contractor details. Admin will be provided with a secure username and password for logging into the system. It’s the responsibility of the admin to create entry for allotment and creation of registration certificate and work order licenses. Admin also has complete authority to update and view complete details.

New Registration Certificate: To make a new entry to RC, we need to provide certain inputs which are: District Name, R.C No, Contractor Name, Mobile Number, Nature of work, Work Order issue date, Registered Certificate obtained for workers, fees paid, challan number, date and bank name. It will be stored in the database with a unique RC No.

New Work Order Entry: For generating a new work order form, following inputs are required for creating a new work order for a particular RC No.: License number, work Order number, dated, fee paid, challan number, amount, bank, code number, mobile number, License date issue, name and address of contractor, Renewal date. Each work order will have a unique license number.

This fully user friendly software will make the whole pay-roll system speedier and will guarantee on time salary to employees without any redundancy and delays. Moreover, it will certainly reduce the time, money and effort wasted in manual searching for leaves, deductions, grade allocation and designation allocation.

Existing System

The Existing Pay Roll System is in fact very slow and highly delays prone. As the data stored is done manually, it takes a lot of time to process any query regarding information of any employee. The financial head has to search for a particular employee grade, leaves, designation and calculate the deductions before issuing him the pay slip. It requires huge man power if the organization is having a good number of employees. Due to manual operations, inconsistency in data management may prevail which can create faulty pay slips.

Proposed system

The proposed Pay Roll System software will remove any kind of redundancies and inconsistencies prevailing in the existing system by providing a fully computerized pay roll management system. The Pay Roll System will hold all the employee’s personal details, along with his grade, designation, leaves and other deductions. The reports and the pay slips can be generated with a single mouse click. The GUI of the software is very user friendly, easy to navigate and can easily be managed by a non tech-savvy person.

Pay Roll System Modules

There are essentially two modules of this Pay Roll System software which are further broken into sub-modules;

Registration module: In this module, new entries will be created and modified. It is broken into five sub modules:

Employee Master: Here all the details of the employee like address, DOB, Date of joining are stored here. He is allotted grade and designation through this module.

Deductions master: Here all the deductions will be calculated. Leave deductions, tax deductions and other deductions are inserted here.

Department master: New departments are added here and updations and modifications to existing departments are done here.

Designation Master: It enables the admin to create new designation corresponding to a particular department.

Grade Master: Here new grades can be created as well as allocated to the existing employees.

Reports Module: The reports module is responsible for report generation based on the specified category. The categories are employee wise reports, grade wise reports, department wise reports, grade wise repots and pay-slip report. Pay-slip generation is also responsibility of this module.

This Revenue Recovery System project will completely automate the existing system of revenue collection, reducing the burden on District Collector. The revenue collection will be become easier, speedy as well as flawless when it comes to collect revenue from heads like educational cess, stamp duty etc.

Existing System

Revenue Recovery System is a tedious task when it comes to villages. All data is maintained manually and there is no transparency. So the system is more prone to corruption. Moreover generating any report will take a huge time and manual effort. Even after that, one cannot be sure that the data provided is complete in all respects and not missing. Further adding, it becomes very difficult to monitor at different levels like District level, Mandal level and Division level. The data flow is simply non-systematic, unsecure and highly time consuming.

Proposed system

The new fully automated Revenue Recovery System will remove all the inconsistencies imparted by the existing system. All the revenue recovered reports can be generated by a single mouse click by just specifying the time frame (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually). Even the graphical representation of the data over a time frame can also be generated for a better understanding of the scenario. This Revenue Recovery System software will certainly enhance the functionality of the revenue department by providing it the required transparency, responsiveness and security. Definitely it will reduce the manual effort wasted in report generation thus reducing the work load of the higher officials. As the data provided will be completely authentic, it will help in better analysis of the revenue recovered till date. With everything going flawless, work can be completed in the given time frame as well as level wise abstraction of data become easier. This software had additional advantage of storing and keeping a backup of the data.

Medical Booking Store Modules

This medical Booking Store is essentially divides into six modules:

Administrator module: admin has been granted full access with complete permissions towards the system. He is essentially responsible for creating, deleting and modifying any product into the inventory. He has full authority to delete any user account. He can view and send reply to user’s messages. Report generation can be done by admin by selecting a time frame from calendar.

Visitor module: The visitor will be greeted on the home page. He can view about us page and signup/login page. He can navigate around the products but cannot place order.

User module: when a visitor signups for the website, he becomes the user. Now he can not only search around the products but also can place order and do the payment. Change of password and logout are also displayed in this module.

Payment module: payment can also be done by credit cards. The software is so designed that it will not remember the credit card credentials.

Shopping cart module: This module offers to add, delete and modify the products in the cart. After this shopping cart module will be redirected towards payment module.

Discussion Board module: Here communication follows between users and administrator. A user can send messages or complaints to admin and admin sends replies to users.
