Existing System

In the existing College Management System PHP, no database is maintained as regards admission, enrolment, and pass outs students of various departments. Also no database is maintained for employee payroll, retirement and other benefits. All the documents are in papers and kept in files. This eats up much time in preparing the documents and also searching relevant documents from the heap of files take up valuable time of the employees. In existing College Management System PHP, there are many more flaws apart from it too, such as data files can be lost when the management keep track of all the activities into files and many more.

Proposed system

The software is prepared by programming language PHP and MySQL database. The software will manage all the functionalities of the college and promote the college among the student fraternities all over the world. The software is on one hand error free and use friendly and on the other hand will reduce consumption of paper, time, and power that is to say it will reduce costs to a great extent. The site opens with a home page that gives introduction of the college. There are courses tab describing different courses offered, fees tab displaying fee structure.

The system has the following modules
1. Admin: All the activities are visible only by authorized persons or admins of the software. They can access it any time and can change it anytime. They have the access to add and remove various features to the system as well. Admin have their own panels too.
2. Students: All the details about the existing students. Students can see their details such as their results, attendances, marks in mid terms and many more. They have their separate panel and through their roll numbers and passwords, they were able to login into their respective panels in order to check their details.
3. Faculty: Details about the faculty. Faculty have their own panel where they can update their profile and details which can be seen by all other people who access the website.

Courier Management System

Objective

The objective of this courier management system is to reduce the day to day work hectic by automating all the manual work of courier related organizations into computer based work. Courier management system aims at keeping the track of employee information, apart from this details about day to day courier senders, receivers, courier men, hub details and prices and products which are sending using courier services. Also it keeps the track of all the companies that uses courier services daily or most frequently in order to give them special discount so that they can use their services daily.

All the database with a backup is being stored into the server of the system. This reduce the man power and increase the efficiency of the work demands.

Existing System

Existing Courier Management System has no automation. All the work is done manually. Existing system has many flaws such as in existing system, the sender needs to first send the letter or have to go to the shop for sending the courier and then after some days the courier will be send when the courier man comes and receives the courier.

Existing system takes a lot of time. Also the time taken is very much for sending even one courier. Thus existing system needs to be changed.

Proposed System

In the proposed Courier Management System, all the work is automated, and no wastage of time should be done. In proposed system, all the work is automated. If someone needs to send any courier than he or she can just login into the panel and send a request to the courier company and then the courier team can themselves contact you.

In proposed Courier Management System, we need not to waste our time in any procedure and or in following any step, and all the work is done so easily without taking much time.

Courier Management System Modules

The module for the courier management system are given as follows:

1. Customer – Customer panel includes all the request that customer sends to the company for requesting a courier man to take their parcel from their home and send them wherever they addresses the place. Also this panel includes the personal information and the bank details by which they pay the money for sending their courier.
2. Administrator – This panel includes the administration activities such as receiving the request from the customer, forwarding it to the relevant employees of the company and taking actions for their requests.
3. Frontend – This panel includes all the details such as how much time is taken for sending the courier, what are the places include, how much according to the parcel do the people need to pay and many more information. This is the basic page or layout which can be accessed by everyone and they can easily get details as per their request.

Online Examination Management System

Objective

Nowadays, Online Examination Management System is a fast growing technical aspect of taking exams of the students via internet and computers. The system offers a complete CBT Package i.e a computer based test package. This system is well considered today because of its accuracy and speed as well. In the system, the user have to login in with the unique id and password given to them at their time of admit card returns. No other student can login into another one’s account. When test is being taken by students, the system offers multiple choice question to them, and after the submission of answers, the system itself check answers and mark correct or wrong as per the correct answers given to the system, saved in its database. Result of out of how many questions, how many are correct is being given by the Online Examination Management System automatically. The online examination system is an automated system which needs less manpower.

Existing System

In existing Online Examination Management System, the tests and quizzes are being prepared manually by manpower. It needs a lot of time to write questions and then taking their prints or copies. In case if the main copy is lost, before taking up the backup, all the work done manually will be lost and thus needs a lot more work. Apart from that, time taken to check the copies and answer sheets will be more and there are a lot more chances of mistakes because multiple choices answers need more accuracy. Existing system has many disadvantages in it.

Proposed System

In current Online Examination Management System which we had proposed, we are providing every aspect or steps done while taking quizzes and tests automatically. No manpower is needed. You just need to make one paper, save it in database server, the backup is stored automatically and just the student needs to login into their account and after giving the test, the answers will be checked by the system by itself. This needs less time and efforts by invigilator.

Online Examination Management System Modules

1. ADMIN PANEL – It involves the login part of the admin, who can create the paper and save all the details in the database server and can have access to all the details as well as the answers submitted by the students. Only admin can authenticate all the A to Z things involve in the database server and can have access to change them even after once the paper is designed or released.
2. STUDENT PANEL– This panel involves student zone where students can enter into their account by the id and password given to them and can access all the questions and give their answers as per their reliability.
3. ONLINE QUIZ PATTERN– It includes the designing part of the quiz system and the front end part in which the looks, design, questions, details everything will be added.

Institute Management System 

Project Objective

Nowadays, even a small institute have a large database to maintain. Initializing from there exam paper preparations to results, from students detail to faculty attendance, from project reports to extra activities, a small institute even generated a big database even in a month. Thus, In order to maintain such database and even to handle such kind of large activities, we need to have some automatically working system, which does not require much labor work and can be done easily.

This Institute Management System is being generated for such purpose only to maintain all the work power of an institute in a single database server. This model will also be able to solve the problem of time as the current system is very time consuming and this project is being developed keeping in mind the time problem.

Existing System

In existing Institute Management System, all the sections have their separate files that too is kept in documents. All the sections have to be maintained manually and information have to store by hands. In existing system, a bundle of files are maintained for every section which in results makes a cluster of files of only one section even.
Existing system takes too much time to update the details but still results in less accurate work as compared to the given details. Existing system even have an increase the chances of losing files even.

Proposed System

In the proposed Institute Management System, everything is designing and developing in such a way that it works automatically. Every part of the regular activities going on in an institution. All the database of the attendance is created and is stored in the server automatically.

Institute Management System Modules

Attendance tracking system project maintains the given modules:

1. Administrator: Administrator with user id and password can be able to login to this panel and then can insert and update the academic calendar and academic information along with the addition and deletion of the information of the faculty and other employees too.
2. Faculty: Faculty cannot change all the details and cannot have all the access as much as the administrator have. Faculty can only check the desired information they need and only alter some data. They cannot have access to alter all the data.
3. Student: Students can login into the panel and can check their details, details including their attendance, their reports marking and reviews over it. Apart from this, the students can maintain their profile details and information about them in a database. In case they need to take any holiday, then they can submit their grievances into the panel.
