Project Objective

This Life Insurance Management System project is the web based application software programmed using Java Technology. It manages the activities related to insurance of the people. All the information and data catch up which providing any insurance policy to any company, any human being or any other product such as vehicles, buildings etc can be saved in to the database for which oracle is used as a backend. Later on, the insurance holder for any product or insurance holder customers can view the details also using their login details. For rest of the users, the information of each other will keep confidential.

The software is not limited up to providing insurance details of their customers but this project also works dynamically by providing various guideline tools for special insurance policies, schemes, terms and conditions, how to register and get extra benefits and all other details.

This software is designed keeping in mind to make it one of the best automation system for keeping all the tracks of the details of their customers and for providing best services to them so that they can generate best revenues for themselves by putting up insurance which is best suited to them.

Existing System

In the existing Life Insurance Management System, the work is done by hand. All the details for the insurance such as cash information or age related important information was collected into the hard copy and by chance if any of the document get missed up or get harmed then whole of the information will be missed, resulted into the major loss for the user.

Also adding all the details manually will take a lot of time and also a lot more chances of entering the information wrong. And also sending details from one place to another will not be any task because in case while sending one important document from one place to another, it get lost, then also it will proved to a great loss both for the user as well as for the organization.

Proposed System

In the proposed Life Insurance Management System, all the work will be digitalized and is done via computers and internet. All the details regarding the insurance holder and schemes will be added via computer and the information data is being saved in servers. Backup should be there in case if by chance any of the information will be lost.

Time consume will be reduced and users will get any easy way to access their insurance related information and new upcoming schemes. Users just have to click on the button and just have to wait for some moments and they get an easy access to their information.

ADMIN: It takes care of all the web based activities and only provide access to the users who are registered already and for rest, they need to register first.

AGENT: This module provides the users with the information regarding the policies and schemes and brings new clients and customers to the organization.

CUSTOMER: This module is based on the users. This is the main source for working of this system and how the customer act as a source of revenue for the company and how user can get all the details and insurance can be fetched in this module.

Project Objective

The Help Desk Management System is a set of programs which run as a software providing assistance to all the complaints, queries and services to the customers within a set of organization. It is a web based software which has made the working procedure of organization much easy.

This software will fulfil customer’s need by providing them technical support for their relevant issues as well as time period considered for solving the problems will be much shorter. All the queries and issues that will be posted in portal will be saved into the database for future reference.

The software is an intranet based software which can be used within the organization. It is basically a customer care management system. This software is very efficient in future time because it is an E-help desk system which tries to solve the problems of all the customer via internet medium and digital medium and thus reducing even the working time for the users too, to solve their problems and queries.

Existing System

Every organization has at least one help desk system where are the complaints and queries can be stored, resolved and saved for future reference. But as this Help Desk Management System is worked manually, so it will take a lot of time and labour to solve all the problems of the customers and even to handle too many customers at one time. Manually the work is increased even, just like writing the whole data, query and other requirements, apart from sending them message or replying them manually one by one. Even at the time of updating information, it gets quite risky due to the increment in chances of errors to update the information by oneself.

Proposed System

This new proposed Help Desk Management System is very efficient and is not at all time consuming. The software is designed in such a way that all the processes and steps are done automatically and information which needs to be updates can be done effectively. And thus increasing the efficiency of the company to manage their clients and give them best services throughout the time.

Help Desk Management System Modules

Modules related to it are:

1. Administration Module:

This module includes adding of problems to any particular category given by the users. Also providing support to the clients for the problems and issues they are facing are also included into this module. All the end users of the organization are included in this module.

2. User Module:

In this module, the users, whether they are new or the existing one have to initially login into the system or help desk palace in order to post any query or related problems. If the user is existing one, then he just have to login into the system by username and password which had been already provided to him at the time of registration and if it is the new user than he just have to register himself first and then he will only be able to post query.

3. Main User Module:

In this module, the main head of the organization and all the relevant job related to him are included such as maintaining all the details about the users and administrators as well also collecting all the confidential data also.

Project Objective

The Data mart Management system is a highly programmed software whose task is to maintain and keep track of all the records of the goods that are available in stock or is not available too in an inventory management system.

As we all know, Inventory is basically a place where all the retail things and various goods and items are stored and maintained and is sell to the buyers. When a good is sell, all the details like to which retailer the good is being selling or which item and how many in quantity and at what prices are being it is selling. All the details is being managed in the data mart system.

Existing System

In existing system of the data mart management, managing the information is actually not an easy task because the information and of course, the data which is being available in a very big quantity is being maintained by humans only as they have to jot down all the data in to documents.

This process not only take time but also this process is very hard and difficult to maintain because one calculation can leads up to a very huge loss. Not only this, if any single document is lost, then also there will be a big problem for the inventory.

Proposed System

So far, thus we have proposed such a system in which one needs to enter all the details into the computer and then all the collection of details and inventory will get saved automatically. In fact the calculations does not required any manual work. You just need to have enter the amount and the quantity, and as per the program everything will get calculated in just a single minute and will automatically get saved into the database server. In case, if one copy of the data is being lost, then due to this highly programmed software, the backup of all the data is being available into the server from where, the authorized person can get access to the lost data once again.

Basically, the data mart management software has five module’s which are:

1. Maintenance: Maintaining all the data and information is included in this module and only staff members and the relevant authorized persons can do this.
2. Reports: Designing up of reports of the buy, sell or in stock or stock products as well as who buy it and who sell it is kept under this module.
3. Billing: Generating automatic bills for all the products and all the extra charges which have been payed in maintaining the inventory system is kept under this module.
4. Shipment: All the shipment details such as which item is to be shipped, where to be shipped and at what time and through which medium, what is the amount to be collected after shipping are some of the information which is placed up in this module.

Automated Sports Club System

 

Project Objective

“XYZ Name” sports club provides best games services to its members. The sports activities include table tennis, carrom, basket ball, squash, football, and hockey. Apart from this, the club has a café with variety of drinks available and 2 rest rooms and 1 swimming pool. Apart from that, one extra room is there or we can say hall which is only for the managing department of the club.

Automated Sports Club System software is programmed in such a way that it helps “XYZ Name” sports club to maintain all the records of its regular members as well as all the details about their managing department is also kept collectively in one single database. Automated Sports Club System is designed to reduce the manual labour power and thus increasing the efficieny of the club to work well.

Existing System

The existing Automated Sports Club System of the “XYZ Name” sports club is working upon is basically is manual work. All the database is collected in spreadsheets and all the details of the staff members and the regular players is also jot down in sheets and various hard copy documents. No details of the sports club is also available and in case if anybody needs any particular information regarding the club or any sport, than he/she needs to go to the relevant office of the club. Also registration is done manually for the new customers. This process takes a lot of time thus reducing the interest of the customer in the club.

Proposed System

This proposed Automated Sports Club System software not only reduce the time of all the processes that have been done during giving up of any new membership to new customers but also increase the efficiency of the staff members by reducing their manual work of entering information into spreadsheets. The new proposed system just needs a single mouse click, and within the time limit of 2 seconds all the information will get available to the user whether it is about their own past history membership details but also of all the activities and sports that are highly active at that time in the club.

There are 3 types of module exists in the automated sports club system software, which are given as follows:

1. Staff Module: This module contains all the details which the staffs or the authorized persons can do such as maintaining the whole system or organizing various sports or tasks and keeping track of all the confidential and non-confidential information about the club and its members and recent activities going on.
2. Registration Module: In this module, user can register himself into the club and get access to all the activities and sports as well as all the special promotion offers the club provides.

Advertisement Server Project

 

Project Objective

            Today advertisement has come to occupy empty spaces in every aspect of our life, be it between TV shows, in empty spaces on the highway, between phone calls, in empty pixels on our mobile phones, etc. This sector has been exponentially growing with the advent of social media and social networks.

            This Advertisement Server system will be maintained by an advertisement group and will help them better manage the process of allocating advertisements. The objective of this system is to ensure that the advertisements are always updated as per client requirements and to automate the process from the creation of the order till its deployment.

            This Advertisement Server system will be equipped to handle advertisements that can be deployed either on television, on mobile phone apps, on websites or over the radio. Each style of deployment will have recommended specifications for the advertisement. A client can create an account on the system and choose the style of deployment and make the payment as per the plans shown. Based on the specifications given the client can make their advertisement based on the method of deployment chosen either as a video clip, a picture, a GIF image or an audio clipping. After this the client will be able to choose the timings (for TV and radio) or websites/mobile apps they want and will be able to see a preview of how the advertisement will be presented. Clients can also use a built in tool to make minor changes to the advertisement.

            Some clients may have a recurring order for advertising and a special feature of this system is the ability to update the advert segment on demand. The advertising company will set a deadline for when the advertisement has to be finalised and the client can update the advertisement at any time till this deadline. The advertising company can upload the advertisement to the different channels via this system. Since this system makes the process very simple it is expected that the advertising company will have many more orders from clients and this system will even help in handling large volumes of orders.

Existing System

            In the existing Advertisement Server system clients have to personally visit the advertiser to finalise the terms, then for payment, then for providing the advertisement material and for any clarifications after that. It is very difficult for clients to edit the advertisement at will and sometimes outdated advertisements are shown due to the difficulty in changing the content. The whole process is lengthy and does not allow for the flexibility required to effectively tap the opportunity presented by modern avenues for advertising, such as mobile apps and websites.

Proposed System

            The proposed Advertisement Server system will make the process more flexible and will reduce the time required for uploading the advertisements. It can reduce human errors in this process as well. It makes the procedure easier for the client and will enable the advertising agency to tap a larger market. The advertising company only needs to worry about procuring clients and channels for advertisement dissemination.

Advertisement Server Modules

Admin: The admin module will be able to create user accounts and will have access to details of the different orders. The admin module can be used to make any changes in advertisement specifications and details of methods of advertisement deployment.

User: The user module can be used to confirm order terms and complete payment. It can also be used to upload advertisement and schedule deployment times.

Editing: The editing module can be used by the user at any time to perform minor edits to the picture, video or audio of their advertisement. It will be a very powerful tool but will be easy to use. This will help make last minute changes without having to use another system for the same purpose.

University Search Engine Project

 

Project Objective

            This project aims to build a system that will enable a user to access faculty profiles, courses and publications of various universities. This will enable easy sharing of information amongst scholars from different universities.

All pursuit for knowledge is inherently selfless and true scholars understand the concept of sharing knowledge to gain knowledge. Every university maintains websites to store information about their courses, their faculty, facilities and student or research publications. Each university will be responsible for updating the appropriate website links in the system. This system will be able to parse the information stored on different university websites so as to bring it all together for the user.

            Protection of details and the security of the system will be extremely important. Each user will have to present a roll number from a recognized University before they are granted a user ID. Personal contact details of faculty and other users will be protected and will be revealed only upon request. The system will also have a messaging feature which will enable users to chat with other users or faculty of universities easily. The feature for searching courses can be accessed even without a user ID. Publications from universities can be viewed on the system or copies can be purchased using the system. The system will also enable users to send messages to the authors for discussion of research proposals. The system will automatically update itself when changes are made in any university’s website.

Existing System

            The existing system is within the confines of a single university. Each university maintains a website for these purposes and a student will have to manually visit the website of each university to find information. The process is time consuming and students often give up easily because of the daunting nature of the task.

Proposed System

            The proposed system will make it simple for prospective students to find courses they are interested in and will help universities garner interest for their courses as well. Research scholars will easily be able to find information about faculty they could discuss their work with, facilities to conduct their work and publications pertinent to their field of research. This system will promote and facilitate a nationwide sharing of university resources and knowledge.

Modules

Admin: The admin will verify any student ID submitted by contacting the university concerned. The roll number of the student will be stored in the system so as to avoid creation of bogus profiles. The admin will also ensure that all universities are associated with the system and that their website links are updated.

Student: This module will be for research scholars and other students who have submitted verified university IDs. They will be able to access all the features of the system.

Prospect: This is the general module that can be accessed by any visitor to the system. No login is required but it can only access the course search function of the system.

University: This module can be used by the university. Under this module user IDs can be created for each faculty member and the authors of the different publications. The university can use this module to update their information and the faculty members and authors can use this module to interact with research scholars who contact them.
