Project Objective

       Faculty Book SystemThis Faculty Book System project developed in JAVA is used as an asset for keeping record of faculty books. Thus it helps in minimising manual work and makes it easy to access and store lists in a simple and efficient manner. The software is pre-loaded with the list of the faculty and the students. It stores information related to the issue of any particular book to a faculty or a student along with the date of issue and the date of return.

                Faculty Book System features also include adding or removing items from the database. Regular updates can be made in an efficient manner. It spares the college administration long and tedious hours of manual work. Searching through the database is also fairly easy through the find feature of the software. The faculty book details, book details, course details, faculty books list options provide direct means to access the various modules. Compared to traditional means of using software like Excel and Access to record and store databases, this system provides a hassle free solution to keep the library records safe and intact. One can easily navigate through the records using the Show Previous Record and Show Next Record options on the panel. This easy to use interface which is user-friendly makes any new user to incorporate it in their usual work routines.

Existing System

Usually the college staffs make use of different word processing software to store and access information. But searching through them makes it a lot difficult to easily maintain them. The problems of data duplicity and data redundancy pose a big threat in such cases. In case of any updating, all the files have to be individually updated with the new data which consumes a lot of time and energy.

Proposed System

This new user-friendly Faculty Book System software is designed to resolve problems generally associated with the manual and traditional techniques. It clusters information into well defined sections and accordingly stores them as a database. This makes it easy to search, update or delete records and reduce data redundancy and duplicity. One can directly access the faculty book list, the book list, the course list and the faculty book details without having to look up everything. It can be integrated easily with the day to day work pattern. This system minimises the drawbacks faced presently in the existing systems.

Faculty Book System Modules

  1. Faculty book details module:– This module takes the details of the books and the course they are recommended for.
  2. Book module:– This module contains information of all the books registered with the system including book name, book number, publication, year of publication, edition, retail price, and the type of book, i.e., recommended reading or prescribed.
  3. Course module:– This module consists of information about the course number and course name.
  4. Faculty book list:– This modules displays the list of all the textbooks available which can be sorted by the course number or by the textbook name.

Bank Application SystemThis Bank Application System lets users create a new account, make cash deposits and withdrawals, access account information and delete account all through software without the need of going personally to a bank.

                 This Bank Application System project has been designed in Java and various actions have different panels. It keeps logs of all the transactions made whether it is withdrawal or deposit of cash. One can create a new account and even delete an existing one. This gives user the facility to work in one’s own comfort and at a time convenient for them. It is secure and user-friendly.

Existing System

The manual Bank Application System that carry out the whole process in a bank are more prone to errors. It takes a vast amount of time to take an action be it the creation of an account or depositing money. It is especially negative when there are time constraints for the customers to get a work done. This makes it a lot inconvenient for the customer as well as it is time consuming. Banks are open only in limited hours in a day and any transaction to be made after those times in cases of emergencies become impossible. This causes a lot of inconvenience.

Proposed System

This Bank Application System has been designed to overcome all the disadvantages of the traditional banking system. A user has the option of creating an account, cash transactions all at their own discretion. There is a separate module for each and every action and it is really easy to use and secure as well. This software helps save a lot of time, energy and effort that the customers have to go through in carrying out these actions personally.

Bank Application System Modules

  1. New Account Module:– This module lets users add a new account by providing name, address and age.
  2. Deposit module:– This module has been designed to assist the users in depositing money. It takes as input account number, type, date and amount.
  3. Display module:– This module provides account information, balance, withdrawal and deposit information. It has four sub-modules:
    1. AccountInfo module:– This displays the information of the account whose number has been entered into the given field
    2. BalanceInfo module:– This displays the current balance in the queried account
    3. DepositInfo module:– This shows the logs of the deposits which have been made into the account.
    4. WithdrawalInfo module:– This module shows the logs of the withdrawals that have been made from the account.
  4. Withdrawal module:– This module has been designed to assist the users in withdrawing money. It takes as input account number, type, date and amount.
  5. Delete Account module:– This lets user to delete an existing account.

Project Objective

           This ATM Database System allows users to make money transactions from one account to another. The users have to enter their account number and then they can access the main menu from where they can perform the action they desire.

        Various functionalities including sending and receiving money, changing password, inquire about account balance. It is a flexible application and user-friendly. The front end has been designed using Java swing and database connectivity connects it to a database in MS Access. Due to the various advantages of Java like portability, security, robustness, this system has been designed in Java. This ATM Database System allows users to perform various ATM transactions online and even change their passwords in case of any emergencies. The various controls have been placed on different panels thus making it easy for user to make the best use of the software.

Existing System

Manually performing transactions and other ATM related actions in the banks is not always possible. There may be cases of emergencies or public holidays which makes it impossible to gain access to these facilities at every time. Also it is time taking and exhaustive in case there is a long queue of customers at the bank or even at the ATM kiosk that are generally provided by banks at various places. Sometimes these kiosks are also out of order making it difficult for the customers to get their job done and also these cause waste of time.

Proposed System

ATM database system provides user the option to access information about their accounts and make cash transactions and even change their passwords online. One does not have to be physically present at the bank or the kiosk to get their jobs done. This efficient and secure software lets users to sit in the comfort of their homes and access the various functionalities of the system. One can also check the balance in their account through this system and also make self transactions.

ATM Database System Modules

  1. Cash module:– This module shows the denominations of the money.
  2. Transfer module:– This module lets users to transfer cash from one account to another. The inputs are the password of the sender and the receiver and the amount of money to be transferred.
  3. Card transactions module:– This module has two sub-modules: Change password and dept paying.
    1. Change password:- This module allows the user to change his current password.
    2. Dept paying:- This module has been designed to pay debts or loans like credit debts, education debts, insurance debts, etc.
  4. Standard Cash Module:– This module lets the user see the details of his account like name, password and the amount left after the standard deduction of a fixed amount.
  5. Information Module:– This module lets the user see the remainder amount in his account after a transaction.

Project Objectives

 

          The front end of this project has been developed in java and the back end has been developed in MS Access. Advanced payroll system constitutes functionalities like employee information, generation of pay-slips and tax deduction. It makes use of the salary structure of an employee to generate and manage the generation of the payroll.

            The employee payslip contains information about basic pay, allowances, as well as deductions and the net salary. One can select the employee type and the allowances and deductions that such an employee is entitled to and the payslip is generated on that basis. One can also add a new employee record, or edit or delete an existing one. This Advanced Payroll System can be used to generate the payslip easily by entering the employee code and the month for which the payslip is to be generated. The payslip is then generated according to the designation of the employee automatically. It is easy to use and is a hassle free solution for the maintenance and generation of payslips.

Existing System

In the existing Advanced Payroll System methods for payroll management, the payroll has to be completely made manually. All the calculation if done manually are more prone to error and also time consuming as they may require to be checked and re-checked numerously. Also outsourcing this creates problems like untimely creation of pay checks, and untimely help in case of any errors or problems.

Proposed System

The advanced payroll system deals with all the major disadvantages of the manual and outsourced methods of payroll management. Since the software is in our hands, we can make any changes immediately at any required time and save ourselves a lot of delay and time. All the data is generated automatically through pre-defined data sets. This causes the elimination of any possibility of an error. Also when there is a revision in the pay of any employee only one update can fix the whole process without having to update each and every column of the payslip individually. And since the calculations are done by the computer so there are no chances of error. Any new employee record can be added by using the Add feature. And any changes can be made using the Edit feature. Any record of an employee can be deleted using the Delete feature. Hence it makes the work really easy and hassle-free.

Advanced Payroll System Modules

  1. Add-Employee module:– This module lets us to create a new employee record by providing details like Employee code, designation, first name, last name, address and contact number.
  2. Edit-Employee module:– This module has been designed to aid in the editing of the record of a particular employee.
  3. Delete-Employee module:– To delete the record of any employee, this module was designed.
  4. Employee-Settings module:– This module provide the basic settings namely the type of allowances like DA, HRA, WA and type of deductions like GPF, LT, GIS, PF, LIC that the employee is entitled to.
  5. Employee Payslip module:– This module displays the payslip of the employee including basic details, allowances and deductions the employee is entitled to and the basic pay as well as net salary.

The best feature of this software is that it is a web based vehicle identification system which doesn’t required a person to go to the office manually for getting any detail regarding any of the vehicle.

The software is designed in a planned way and using various technologies including various new facilities like using any of the DBMS software for storage of data. The software is programmed in such a way that it is having a centralized storage of the database. Using Vehicle’s Identification System software, within a moment, all the details regarding the particular vehicle can be find out.

This software will prove to be very useful in various ways such as various companies who provide their services in the stream of vehicle selling or vehicle maintenance by keep the details of the vehicle owners and physical details and verification about the vehicles. Can be used by police departments also for theft catching. It makes the data storage of vehicles in various streams, very easy and versatile.

Existing System

In Existing system, if a person needs any relevant information regarding any vehicle, than he/she will have to go to that concern office and fill up a lot of forms and details manually and then they are able to collect information. While putting up your vehicle for servicing, you need to go through a lot of paper work and also for the insurance of your vehicle forms and details are the first step to go through in the existing vehicle identification system.

Proposed System

This newly programmed software doesn’t require any manual work or going to the concerning office, instead it will reduce the work level for getting the data related to any particular vehicle. Even the owners doesn’t need to fill any form for getting the data. This web based vehicle identification system reduces the load and makes the way easy for storing all the relevant details regarding vehicles at a particular server and access it in one click whenever needed.

Modules

Administrator Module: This module maintains the integration between the functionalities of the whole system and the backend database. It maintains the services related to the administrator.

Insurance Module: Processes like adding insurance details, viewing vehicle details, sending and viewing messages are the part of this module.

Customer Module: In this module, customer’s details are maintained. And customer’s username and login details are saved.

Staff Module: This module maintains the details related to vehicles. 

Workshop module: Adding various details such as vehicle registration details and viewing them and all the processes take place during the working of the organization is included in this module.

Project Objective

ISP Automation SystemAs it is very well known that ISP is Internet Service Provider which works as a link between many computer networks. The main objective behind developing this software is to automate the intermediate path between where all the complaints and queries by the customers can be collected and maintained. The aim of this ISP Automation software is to automate all the processes and to check out all the errors that occur while working of all the servers and transfer those errors to the relevant department to work on them.

This ISP Automation System basically contains two parts in which one part is the connectivity part and other is the section which deals with the placing of all the web pages in the server. The connectivity part of the software deals with the requests that are placed by the customers and maintaining the query and complaint section for the customers.

Existing System

In the existing ISP Automation system software, there is no right interface for communication between the server and the Internet Service Provider and even finding out the right IP (Internet Protocol) Address for the page which is requested by the user is a difficult task. When the server decline any of the request by the user, than in the existing system there is no proper way to show it to the subscriber. Fetching error is also a difficult task in the existing system.

Proposed System

This new highly programmed software of ISP Automation System is able to make communication best fit between the server and the ISP. The new system will be able to identify the right IP Address and even is able to fetch the right error, with detailed report about the error being forwarded to the relevant desk. When the server decline any of the request by the user, then first the software try to troubleshoot the problem or in case if it does not, then system sends the right and proper message of error to the user.

ISP Automation System Modules

  1. SERVICE MODULE: This module takes care of all the sections which is responsible for solving all the issues and problems related to the working of the system and the satisfaction of the clients.
  2. HARDWARE & SOFTWARE MODULE: This module takes care of all the problems related to hardware and software working of the software program.
  3. CONNECTION MODULE: This module is responsible for the regular communication between the server of the same network and other servers. It also works in the stream of checking the IP address.
  4. USER LOGIN MODULE: This module is being handled by the authorized users only and each person who has authority to login through this panel assign different task to perform and to make sure the overall system software programs well to satisfy all the customers need.
