Pay Roll System Project using Java

The main aim of this Pay Roll System project is have a fully automated pay-roll system. This fully user friendly software will make the whole pay-roll system speedier and will guarantee on time salary to employees without any redundancy and delays. Moreover, it will certainly reduce the time, money and effort wasted in manual searching for leaves, deductions, grade allocation and designation allocation.

Existing System

The Existing Pay Roll System is in fact very slow and highly delays prone. As the data stored is done manually, it takes a lot of time to process any query regarding information of any employee. The financial head has to search for a particular employee grade, leaves, designation and calculate the deductions before issuing him the pay slip. It requires huge man power if the organization is having a good number of employees. Due to manual operations, inconsistency in data management may prevail which can create faulty pay slips.

Proposed system

The proposed Pay Roll System software will remove any kind of redundancies and inconsistencies prevailing in the existing system by providing a fully computerized pay roll management system. The Pay Roll System will hold all the employee’s personal details, along with his grade, designation, leaves and other deductions. The reports and the pay slips can be generated with a single mouse click. The GUI of the software is very user friendly, easy to navigate and can easily be managed by a non tech-savvy person.

Pay Roll System Modules

There are essentially two modules of this Pay Roll System software which are further broken into sub-modules;

Registration module: In this module, new entries will be created and modified. It is broken into five sub modules:

Employee Master: Here all the details of the employee like address, DOB, Date of joining are stored here. He is allotted grade and designation through this module.

Deductions master: Here all the deductions will be calculated. Leave deductions, tax deductions and other deductions are inserted here.

Department master: New departments are added here and updations and modifications to existing departments are done here.

Designation Master: It enables the admin to create new designation corresponding to a particular department.

Grade Master: Here new grades can be created as well as allocated to the existing employees.

Reports Module: The reports module is responsible for report generation based on the specified category. The categories are employee wise reports, grade wise reports, department wise reports, grade wise repots and pay-slip report. Pay-slip generation is also responsibility of this module.

The main objective of the Revenue Recovery System project is provide a completely transparent, responsive and optimized Revenue Recovery System. Another purpose is for the speedy generation of reports to maintain the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual statistics. This Revenue Recovery System project will completely automate the existing system of revenue collection, reducing the burden on District Collector. The revenue collection will be become easier, speedy as well as flawless when it comes to collect revenue from heads like educational cess, stamp duty etc.

Existing System

Revenue Recovery System is a tedious task when it comes to villages. All data is maintained manually and there is no transparency. So the system is more prone to corruption. Moreover generating any report will take a huge time and manual effort. Even after that, one cannot be sure that the data provided is complete in all respects and not missing. Further adding, it becomes very difficult to monitor at different levels like District level, Mandal level and Division level. The data flow is simply non-systematic, unsecure and highly time consuming.

Proposed system

The new fully automated Revenue Recovery System will remove all the inconsistencies imparted by the existing system. All the revenue recovered reports can be generated by a single mouse click by just specifying the time frame (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually). Even the graphical representation of the data over a time frame can also be generated for a better understanding of the scenario. This Revenue Recovery System software will certainly enhance the functionality of the revenue department by providing it the required transparency, responsiveness and security. Definitely it will reduce the manual effort wasted in report generation thus reducing the work load of the higher officials. As the data provided will be completely authentic, it will help in better analysis of the revenue recovered till date. With everything going flawless, work can be completed in the given time frame as well as level wise abstraction of data become easier. This software had additional advantage of storing and keeping a backup of the data.

Entry Module: All the revenue related information will be entered here and will be directly stored in the database.

Report Generation module: This module will help in report generation. You can easily view the monthly reports, quarterly reports, half yearly reports and annual reports. Even the graphical data reports are also generated here.

Site Administration module: This is the admin panel of the software. The admin has the complete authority over the software.

The main objective of this medical Booking Store system is to take the whole medical store online so that it is reachable to customers 24/7. It also aims at going towards cashless transactions. It will impart a wider visibility to the customers. Thus boosting the business to higher levels. The medical Booking Store will be a web based system with a very user friendly interface which indeed will make the whole management process easy to manage and operate with zero redundancies. Overall online medical booking store will become an efficient, highly responsive and an extremely accurate system.

Existing System

The existing medical Booking Store system is time consuming and requires more man power to function well. Secondly the scope of offline medical store is limited to local area and is available for fixed timing. All the data management involving product availability, searching, billing and other report generation are done manually which indeed are very time consuming.

Proposed System

The proposed medical Booking Store system will completely Revolutionize the industry. Searching of products, order placing, billing and product stock can be maintained by a single click. The order placed can be easily tracked At any time. The payment of the order can also be done by credit cards.

Medical Booking Store Modules

This medical Booking Store is essentially divides into six modules:

Administrator module: admin has been granted full access with complete permissions towards the system. He is essentially responsible for creating, deleting and modifying any product into the inventory. He has full authority to delete any user account. He can view and send reply to user’s messages. Report generation can be done by admin by selecting a time frame from calendar.

Visitor module: The visitor will be greeted on the home page. He can view about us page and signup/login page. He can navigate around the products but cannot place order.

User module: when a visitor signups for the website, he becomes the user. Now he can not only search around the products but also can place order and do the payment. Change of password and logout are also displayed in this module.

Payment module: payment can also be done by credit cards. The software is so designed that it will not remember the credit card credentials.

Shopping cart module: This module offers to add, delete and modify the products in the cart. After this shopping cart module will be redirected towards payment module.

Discussion Board module: Here communication follows between users and administrator. A user can send messages or complaints to admin and admin sends replies to users.

Client Management System Project using Java

The main objective of the Client Management System project is to have a fully automated Client Management System. This system will enable to draw the details of the client along with jobs allotted to that particular client with just a single mouse click. This Client Management System will definitely reduce the time, energy and money wasted in manually searching the details of the clients. With the help of this software, all the jobs and clients can be properly channelized.

Existing System

The present scenario offers manual data entry. Not only this, if a client is working on multiple projects, then multiple reports are generated. A lot of time is wasted in creating the reports as well as maintaining them. In case, if any query arises to get the information about the client, the whole report is re-typed or xeroxed. This seriously affects the authentication of the system. This Client Management System is totally outdated and involves high risk of ambiguity and redundancy.

Proposed System

The proposed Client Management System is to have everything completely automated and computerized. The software is very easy to use and manage even for a non technical person. The redundancy and ambiguity will be removed by assigning every client a unique number (or client code). The Client Management System project will be categorized and sub categorized as well for the ease of use and both will be allotted a unique identification number (project and sub-project code). We will need a dedicated remote server for this application.

Client Management System Modules

The Proposed Client Management System will be having the following modules:

Admin: Admin module will have the full control and permissions to add a new client, edit the existing client or delete any of the client. He will also be responsible for addition and modification of any project entry. It will be responsibility of the admin to allocate any project (with the subproject code) to the client.

Client: The client can see his information added by the admin. Each and every client will be identified by a unique client id. He can only edit his information other than his code and project code. All the information like on which projects the client is working will be reflected there.

Project: Each project will be entered by the admin with a unique project code. It is completely his authority to mark it altogether a new project or put it under some project (making it a sub-project). All sub-projects will also be marked by a unique code. Here we can also see which project is mapped to which client.

  • Servers: We will need a remote server to act as e-mail server, database Server and the web logic server.
  • Terminals: These are simply the desktops where the GUI will be running.

The main objective of this Tele Dormitory System project is to build a web based system which will maintain the data in the system. It will maintain the data on the centralized basis so that access of data from any place will be easy and the system will manage data effectively. As the Tele Dormitory System is internet based it will be easy to find any data in the software and do all the action on it. The user can access the system by using the Id and password provided to his/her.

Existing system

In the present Tele Dormitory System customers and telephone connections, information is kept by use of manual processes. The information will be maintained in the ledgers which are not an easy process as there may be a chance of mismanagement in the documents. As the data is stored manually in the files there are difficulties in making the reports of the work. In the manual process of storing the data, there may be a loss of data as there are no other records which will help in retrieving the data and if it is available then this will take a huge amount of time.

Proposed system

In the tele dormitory system, it will manage all the information of the user and will provide an easy way through which a user can access the details regarding the connection. The user will need an ID and password for the access to their connection details. The Tele Dormitory System will provide a function through which user can apply for connection, upgrade the plane, stop the connection. The Tele Dormitory System will provide an effective way to maintain the information with reduced amount of time.

Administrative module
In the administrative module, the organization will have access to information of all users, it will give option through which an administrator will generate and provide a user ID to the customer while an administrator can delete the user from the system.

Customer module
Through it a user can apply online for connection for home as well as for office purpose, the connection can be permanent or temporary. A user can transfer their connection to the other while he/she can also apply for the cancelation of a connection.

Inquiry module
This module provides options which will be used for registering the complaints of the connection. It has a function by using which a customer can ask for owner based on a particular number, inquire about the bill, ask to change the number.

Report module
The report module provides functions to generate a report based on the request from customers, connection etc.

Reusable CAPTCHA security engine Project

The CAPTCHA is used to provide the security against the malicious software by generating a test which only a human can complete. The CAPTCHA stands for completely automated public Turing test to tell computer and human apart. Currently, we are using CAPTCHA are image and text-based data. The reusable CAPTCHA security engine will provide a better way to generating the data for CAPTCHA and will increase the difficulty in bypassing the system by use of improved algorithm.

Existing system

In the existing CAPTCHA security system we use mainly text based CAPTCHA which we are using from the begging of time, so the today there is some software which can bypass this test. The hacker hacks the data from the system and then they make software according to that and the CAPTCHA is bypassed. While a human need to enter a long sentence in the box before the access to the website. While solving the CAPTCHA is a boring and sometimes even though it is right, it shows error and we can say that at first CAPTCHA use to protect from spam bot, but today bots are defeating the CAPTCHA while sometimes humans can’t solve it.

Proposed system

In the proposed CAPTCHA security system will generate the CAPTCHA by using a new improved algorithm which will be interesting to solve at the same time it will be tougher than previous to solved by the bots while will feel easy. The humans have limitations on the speed of response then compared to any computer and hence the computer must be slower than the human and so we will make full benefit of this and use it in the proposed system. The CAPTCHA security system will contain colored graphical interface with the font is limited to two while the border line thickness and color will be fixed. The CAPTCHA security system will generate random text which will be shorter than the present system but will be difficult to hack as it will randomly generate.
